FSHL prides itself on competitiveness, as well as academics and humility. We don’t tolerate inappropriate behavior on and off the ice -- particularly fighting.
Unfortunately, violence has been a part of ice hockey since at least the early 1900s. Many players over the history of the game have died or faced critical injuries because of kicking, hitting from behind, and prohibited stick-work.
So what can FSHL do to reduce fighting and other actions that lead to suspension?
