Miami Dade vs East Side - Game 3

 
Miami-Dade fights back from 3-1 deficit to tie East Side at 4.
 
Anxiety and eagerness were high as both teams faced each other for the third time this season.  The Refs called a very tight game and handed out 10 penalties during the 1st period.  Once again, as in the previous game, East Side struck first with goals by Reydel and Shamon.  
 
Penalties were down to 5 for the 2nd period.  Everhard and May traded goals.  Then, Nitkin got a pair for Miami-Dade, to tie it up (3-3) at the end of the 2nd period.
 
In the 3rd period, Lokken got a go-ahead goal for East Side at 4:53.  In a short handed situation, Everhard picked up a pass from Kummala, skated the down the ice and provided the equalizer at 2:34.  Penalties were down to 1 in the 3rd period as both teams battled clean and hard for the win. Final score: 4-4  SOG: East Side 22 - Miami-Dade 35
 
In Head-to-Head, Miami-Dade leads 1-0-2.
 
Unfortunately, after the final buzzer, the Ref had to hand out a couple “misconducts”, to players on each team.
